Mission Cerro Viejo

Mission Cerro Viejo is very near to our hearts.  We were led by the Lord to this mountain top church almost as soon as we settled in Panama.  The Pastor is a very humble man, who loves the Lord with his whole heart.  He lives in a 9x9 twig building.  The church is outside, under the stars, during the dry season.  When the rain comes, it pours.  The pastor has been holding church in his twig home with a tarp over his roof.  The last service had around 46 people.

We are excited to announce that we are going to be laying a concrete slab and a tin roof for the church with a 10x10 room for Pastor on the back.   This will be like a cathedral for them and everyone is so excited.  Pastor Sil travels high up into the mountains to help those in need.  Often times he is gone days at a time.   Please pray for this project as many people are coming to the Lord in this region.   Spiritual warfare is being felt by the pastor.   We will update you as we progress.

Ces teaching the children about Jesus

Sunday we went to the Camarca.  Ces brought along curriculum for the children.

Ces teaching one of the Indigenous Indian ladies how to share the love of Jesus with the children.

I love how attentive these little ones are.

VERY EXCITED TO SEE WHAT GODS PLANS ARE!
